Etisalat has successfully concluded its participation in GITEX Technology Week, which took place from October 9th-13th at the Dubai International Conference and Exhibition Centre. As the largest exhibitor of the event, Etisalat’s participation, themed under  ‘Experience Your Tomorrow, Today’ was cohesively reflected at GulfComms exhibition at Zabeel Hall, GITEX Shopper and GulfComms conference. It was marked by the launch of innovative consumer and corporate services and applications, strategic ICT telecom solutions and signing of new business partnerships.

Etisalat announced ePlus - an innovative next-generation technology portal that will allow customers to make high quality video and voice calls. The new app will leverage Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology and utilise social networking applications and e-commerce.

Adhering to its commitment to enrich customers’ lives with unlimited possibilities of entertainment and interactive communication, anytime, anywhere, Etisalat’s interactive stand during GITEX also featured eLife TV, the UAE’s most advanced television and video services. Delivered on Etisalat’s high-speed fiber-optic network, eLife TV offers its customers interactive, cutting-edge television experience through the most robust and feature-rich service available in the country.

In the mobile broadband zone, customers enjoyed a first-hand experience of the 4G super speeds of 100Mbps. Etisalat also demonstrated its LTE network capabilities as an enabler of improved mobile health care, mobile education, mobile commerce and much more.

Etisalat showcased its innovative Mobile Baby service, in collaboration with Great Connection Inc. The service will add a new dimension to mobile healthcare service delivery in the UAE by enabling remote medical diagnostics for pre-natal healthcare.

As a partner of choice that helps businesses in the UAE maintain their competitive edge, Etisalat announced its collaboration with Syclo, the leading provider in Enterprise Mobility for businesses and consumers. The Mobile Workforce Management Solution will enable businesses to improve field worker efficiency and communication while leveraging the ubiquity of mobile devices to streamline work management predominantly in the areas of business operations such as Field Force Management, Inventory Management, workflow approvals, IT Asset management, fleet management and facilities management. 

Reinforcing its leadership in Managed Services, Etisalat also announced it is currently implementing a Managed ATM solution for Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), the world’s first Islamic bank, to provide end-to-end managed services for 252 offsite ATMs. 

Etisalat also signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) with the Ministry of Environment and Water (MoEW) to provide MOEW with required telecom infrastructure and ICT solutions.
