(NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, is celebrating Ramadan with more than 100 team members volunteering their time to provide food supplies to those in need. In collaboration with SmartLife Foundation, 1,070 care packages have been delivered to blue-collar workers.
The Ramadan initiative, held annually by local team members, saw an increase of 60% support with team members coming together to pack food boxes containing essential items such as rice, lentils, spices, oil, dates, sugar, flour, and tea, which were then distributed by SmartLife Foundation to laborers in Ras Al Khaimah.
The Ramadan initiative is part of FedEx Cares, the company’s global community engagement program, developed to help make the world a better place through volunteering and charitable giving.
