FGB hosts blood donation campaign in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

FGB, one of the leading banks in the UAE, recently hosted an employee blood donation campaign in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi and the Dubai blood banks as part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to its employees and the UAE community.

The donation campaign is part of FGB’s efforts to give back and make a difference. Employees have flocked to contribute to this important medical work, which saves thousands of lives each year. Abu Dhabi Blood Bank supplies more than 27,000 units of blood to patients in need every year and each unit of donated blood saves the lives of three people.  The donation campaign commutes to Dubai where both employees of the bank and customers had the opportunity to donate. 

Donors must be healthy adult males or females between the age of 18 and 65 years, who weigh at least 50kg and are not under a doctor’s care for any serious conditions.
