“We are delighted to welcome Salalah Eat to Hawana Salalah. This is a great opportunity to fall in love with local and international cuisines made by some of the finest foodies in Oman and enjoy the entertainment in a wonderful climate during the mesmerising season of Khareef,” said Karim Boushra, Area Destinations Director at Muriya. “Hawana Salalah is the perfect place to host such a fun festival and welcome visitors back to the Governorate of Dhofar in general where they can enjoy the world class hospitality, wide variety of restaurants, cafes and facilities that form the heart of Hawana Salalah’s bustling, vibrant multi-national community.”
Organised by Celebrate Oman, Salalah Eat follows in the footsteps of the incredibly successful Muscat Eat by branching out to major cities across Oman to showcase talented chefs and home cooks and introduce visitors to new styles of food available on their doorstep.
With this event taking place at Hawana Salalah and the expected visitors from across Oman and the GCC for the Khareef season, more than 50,000 people are expected to visit the destination. Set on 13.6 million square metres of land along a 7km stretch of white sandy beaches, the destination is Oman’s largest and fastest-growing tourism destination and features over 1,100 hotel rooms and Oman’s first water theme park all within a short walk of the 170-berth marina.
