Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait continues its tradition of Ramadan celebration and fellowship with Jawaher Tent
Great ambiance and premium culinary choices are on display in one of Kuwait’s most sensational Ramadan destinations

Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya is welcoming friends and families to enjoy a remarkable time once more at the city’s most sought-after Ramadan location; the Jawaher Tent. To complement the opulent scenery of the Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait’s tent, customary gatherings known as ‘Ghabgas’ continue to take place throughout the Holy Month, including a special edition that saw influencers and members of the Kuwaiti media landscape bond over delectable dishes, great conversation and Ramadan kinship. With a vibrant month-long agenda sponsored by Al Mulla Automotive, guests are warmly invited to experience Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait’s Jawahar Tent for the remainder of Ramadan and create wonderful memories together that last a lifetime.

In celebration of the spirit that Ramadan embodies, Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait’s Al Bidaa Ballroom has been reimagined into an eye-catching destination that features the finest seasonal amenities that the city has to offer. The entirety of the location has been detailed with a spellbinding atmosphere that gives guests a compelling look into the depth of Kuwaiti cultural heritage, gracefully accompanied by live performances from traditional musicians. The essence of Ramadan is further displayed within the tent’s magnificent decorations, luxurious furnishings and an engaging itinerary of themed events for all ages. Guests have the option to enjoy Iftar or Ghabga with premium seating in the VIP lounge or privately partitioned exclusive Majlis areas within the Jawaher Tent, which offers seats for up to 600 guests and has been brought to life by a specialized team of interior design experts.

Ramadan tradition is also defined by an abundance of delicious, mouth-watering food choices for people to start (or break) their fasts. The Hotel’s Jawaher Tent is no different, inviting diners to dive into a lavish buffet full of world-class culinary delights. With local traditions on full display, the Jawaher tent continues to rise as an impressive, well-known destination for enjoying Ramadan traditions within Kuwait, providing a charming sanctuary for guests that is complemented by heartfelt Arabian hospitality.

Visitors to Jawaher Tent can expect to share the custom of breaking the fast with a lavish Iftar meal, or they can opt to gather for a delightful, late-night Ghabga spread. The special menu available throughout the Holy Month, which was prepared by Executive Chef Thierry Papiller, offers a feast for the senses with a hot and cold mezze, salad corner, Ramadan juice bar and an array of live cooking stations including two new additions this year, the Dai Forni and Sintoho stations from Four Season Kuwait’s signature restaurants on its 21st floor. The spread will also feature waffle, crepe and fresh fruit carving stations, a huge selection of international deserts, Kuwaiti sweets, and a free-flowing chocolate fountain, welcoming guests to close their meals out with a sweet, savoury treat.

In a show of gratitude for their continued support extended to the property, which was recently awarded two prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star ratings for the Hotel and its luxurious Spa, Martin Kipping, General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait, hosted a special Ghabga event for local media personnel and influencers. The event captured the spirit of giving associated with Ramadan and saw more than 100 people from the local media landscape gather to enjoy food, conversation and great company as they engaged with one another in the tent’s beautiful surroundings.

“Our entire team is elated to organize the Jawaher Tent once more, welcoming guests into a remarkable ambiance that speaks to the precious nature of the Holy Month,” stated Kipping. “The decision to host Ghabgas this year for the public and members of Kuwait’s media landscape reflects our endless appreciation for the local community and eagerness to commemorate Ramadan with our valued partners. The turnout at our Ghabgas has given us a great sense of pride as we have been able to provide a medium for people to comfortably engage, discuss and interact with one another during this special time of year.”

“All of our celebrations for Ramadan are an embodiment of our promise to provide quality, elevated hospitality experiences to guests that fully encapsulate the spirit of community and togetherness. We look forward to serving the people of Kuwait, delivering luxurious experiences and helping people form precious memories with their families and loved ones.”

Executive Chef Papiller, who was employed by five Michelin-starred restaurants in France before the age of 25, has returned from last year’s celebration and prepared an incredible variety of dishes from around the world. Chef Papiller, an experienced culinary artisan with more than 15 years in the industry, has created a culinary adventure featuring local delicacies such as jareesh, harees, and lamb machboos alongside Asian flavours from Sintoho and appetizing Italian favourites from Dai Forni.

Executive Chef Thierry Papiller commented: “It’s truly a tremendous achievement to return to the Jawaher Tent this Ramadan, uniting people to enjoy great food and a wonderful ambiance. The values of Ramadan; community, kindness and generosity, are all on display throughout the entirety of the Four Seasons and we aim to encapsulate these stirring sentiments through the food we serve. Throughout the entire duration of this year’s Holy Month, I look forward to adding something special to our guests’ experience and ensuring that they fully enjoy the beauty and peace of Ramadan and its evenings.”

Ramadan has always been a time for the whole family to enjoy, and younger guests can look forward to an exciting program of engaging activities in the hotel’s Kids’ Corner. Each session will feature a different daily theme, with activities led by an experienced “Kids for All Seasons” team, giving parents peace of mind to relax and enjoy a delicious dining package. The magical tradition of ‘Gergean’, a longstanding Kuwaiti cultural practice held during Ramadan, was also enjoyed by children and adults alike allowing guests to partake in a fun, joyful event.

Four Seasons Kuwait’s Iftar dinner is available daily at the Jawaher Tent until 8:30 PM and the Hotel’s Ghabga is available from 9:30 PM until 2:00 AM throughout Ramadan.
