As the countdown begins to the much-awaited 40th UAE National Day, residents can now show their national pride through another enriching way - by learning the local language, Arabic, for free. Eton Institute, the UAE’s largest language institute, will be commemorating the occasion by offering a comprehensive Arabic beginners course absolutely for free for the community. The institute will also be hosting a free cultural workshop and giving away hundreds of Arabic phrasebooks as part of its National Day celebrations.

Moaz Khan, Marketing Manager of Eton Institute said, “The UAE is truly a nation like no other in terms of its welcoming culture, diversity and amalgamation of the old and new. It is home to people from all parts of the world and it preserves its rich heritage while embracing the spirit of globalisation. As an establishment born in the UAE, Eton Institute is proud to be a part of this momentous milestone and the free community initiatives are just humble gestures of our immeasurable gratitude to this wonderful nation.”

He added, “Language in particular is the best connector which allows you to not only communicate with people from different cultures, but also gives you a deeper understanding of their values and the way of life. Through this free Arabic course we would like to further strengthen the ties between the expatriate and local community by fostering interaction and cross-cultural appreciation.”

The free Arabic conversation course will be a comprehensive programme which will cover basics in the language including greetings, introductions, asking for help etc. It will allow attendees to begin speaking in the shortest possible time by concentrating on the speaking and listening skills and teaching essential survival-level words and phrases.

Additionally, Eton Institute will also be hosting a free UAE cultural workshop open to the public and giving away 40 free complete Arabic phrasebooks at the institute every day until the National Day, to mark the 40th anniversary. These initiatives will provide learners with the opportunity to develop first-hand their knowledge of both the language and culture of the UAE.

The free Arabic Conversation Course will be conducted from 23 November – 08 December with classes conducted daily from 5-6pm at the institute, located in Dubai Knowledge Village. Keeping in mind the high demand and limited places available, registration date and details will only be announced through Eton Institute’s Facebook and Twitter community pages.
