Gartner Global CIO Research Board Meeting 2022 Concludes in Dubai, Emirate To Host Again by 2025

Dubai will be city destination of the Gartner Global CIO Research Board Meeting again by 2025, just as the event wraps up a successful 2022 edition – also hosted by the emirate – on March 22-24. 

The 2022 event marked the first time the event is held in the Middle East. The meeting presents a global platform for Gartner Global CIO Research Board members to discuss various topics of interest and showcase Dubai’s digital and technological advancements. 

The announcement was made during a special ceremony held to sign a membership extension agreement between Digital Dubai and the Gartner Research Board. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Hamad Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai – the first Gartner Research Board government member in the Middle East – and Robert Dye, Senior Vice President of Gartner Research Board.

H.E. Al Mansoori said: “We have two great accomplishments to be proud of today, the first being the great success of the 2022 edition of Gartner Global CIO Research Board Meeting, which just concluded in Dubai, marking the first time the grand event has selected a Middle Eastern city as host, and the second is being selected to host once again by 2025.”

“We are grateful for this seal of approval from a globally renowned organization like Gartner, which recognizes the progress we have made on our mission to lead Dubai’s comprehensive digital transformation, digitize every aspect of life in the emirate, and position Dubai as a world-class smart city. We look forward to having the meeting take place in Dubai again,” H.E. added.
