The General Dirctorate of Traffic in Dubai honors Emarat for its support and awareness initiatives

The General Directorate of Traffic in Dubai honored Emirates General Petroleum Corporation "Emarat" as one of the Directorate's key and strategic partners in the support of its programs, objectives and awareness initiatives, especially the strategic goal aiming for the decrease of mortality rates to zero per 100 thousand resident by 2020. 

Major General Khamis Matar Al Mazina, deputy director of Dubai police, honored by Mr. Hussain Kazim, Manager Corporate Communications at Emarat, at the Dubai Police head quarters, in the presence of Major General Engineer Expert Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, director of the traffic directorate, in addition to a number of senior officers, important personalities and members of the press. 

Upon receiving the honorary shield, Mr. Kazim expressed his happiness on behalf of Emarat, and his gratitude for the valuable opportunities made available by the Traffic Directorate for the national establishments to take part in supporting its various initiatives and programs. Mr. Kazim also praised the Directorate's efforts and endeavors in raising traffic awareness, achieving safety on roads and decreasing the number of traffic accidents. 

Mr. Kazim further said that Emarat realizes its role towards the community and continuously enhances the importance of launching programs and initiatives aiming to raise awareness in the society regarding a number of vital issues, such as traffic and vehicles issues, the importance of respecting traffic regulations which were implemented for one goal only: to save lives and properties.
