Global deaf delegation learns about QF’s commitment to accessibility

Members of the international deaf and hard-of-hearing community have visited Qatar Foundation to learn about its commitment to accessibility, and how this is reflected across its programs, events, and ecosystem – as well as its contribution to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
The delegation – including representatives of organizations that support people who are deaf and hard-of-hearing, and advocates for deaf awareness – was given insight into Qatar Foundation’s (QF) efforts in the field of inclusive education, and got a first-hand look at QF’s Ability Friendly Program, which provides inclusive sporting opportunities for the community.
They also received an overview of QF’s mission and ecosystem from the eight-floor viewing balcony at the 2015 building (QF Headquarters), and visited Qatar National Library.
