Global Village’s Eid Al Etihad Shopping and Dining Guide Edition

As the ultimate go-to destination for Eid Al Etihad, Global Village is inviting guests to celebrate the spirit of unity and heritage through a curated selection of Emirati-inspired retail and culinary experiences from 27 November to 3 December 2025. From artisanal crafts and traditional attire to authentic local cuisine, guests can indulge in a celebration of culture and creativity for UAE’s 54th Eid Al Etihad.

971 from the Community:

The ‘971 from the Community’ Pavilion, operated by the Ministry of Community Empowerment, is dedicated to showcasing Emirati talent and creativity. Guests can discover an impressive selection of locally made products crafted by members of the community, including handmade goods and innovative homegrown brands. The pavilion celebrates entrepreneurship and innovation while highlighting craftsmanship deeply rooted in Emirati culture and tradition.

•    At Ghars Centre for Social Empowerment, guests can admire and purchase beautifully handcrafted bags and clutches made from palm leaves. Each piece reflects the traditional Emirati art of weaving, allowing guests to take home a piece of the UAE’s cultural heritage.

•    At BY.SHHK, guests can experience the rich aromas of Emirati bukhoor and perfumes, choosing from a range of elegant scents perfect for celebrating Eid Al Etihad festivities.

UAE Pavilion:

The UAE Pavilion captures the spirit of Emirati heritage, where tradition meets modern elegance. This year’s facade features wind towers, golden coffee pots, camels, and a dhow boat, enhanced by blue wave motifs and an elegant arching roof that symbolises innovation. Inside, guests can watch artisans at work and experience Emirati flavours through exquisite experiences.

•    At VIP Local Dress, guests can browse Eid Al Ittihad-inspired apparel, including kids’ vests embroidered with the UAE flag, along with themed shawls and pins in the colours of the nation.

•    Ombre Dubai offers guests a chance to explore a curated collection of traditional Emirati dresses for little girls alongside contemporary Eid Al Etihad-inspired outfits, blending heritage and modern fashion.

Heritage Village:
The Heritage Village offers an authentic glimpse into Emirati tradition and style. Guests can experience the charm of the nation’s past, explore timeless craftsmanship, and enjoy the warmth of genuine Emirati hospitality while capturing memorable moments that celebrate the country’s rich heritage.

•    Al Zahba Shop specialises in traditional Mukhawars, featuring classic fabrics that evoke the grace and charm of earlier times.

•    At Saharet Al Bait, guests can discover delicate Thoubs and Shayla sets crafted from fine tulle lace, perfectly complementing the traditional Mukhawar.

Khalifa Foundation:

The Khalifa Foundation Pavilion embodies Emirati elegance and Islamic heritage through its graceful arches, domes, and palm-framed design. It serves as a platform for emerging Emirati entrepreneurs to showcase their creativity, featuring products that range from fashion to home essentials and accessories.

•    Guests seeking distinctive gifts or elegant home décor can find exquisite unique finds at Art By Alia, where each piece is inspired by Eid Al Etihad theme and reflects Emirati artistry and tradition.

•    Al Aaliah l’lexseswarat showcases traditional Emirati thoubs paired with intricately embroidered clothing, designed in vibrant colours for younger female guests, reflecting the beauty of Emirati craftsmanship.

To perfectly complement the shopping experience, guests can savour authentic Emirati flavours from a variety of food outlets across Global Village. 

•    Emirati Food kiosks serve much-loved local dishes including Harees, Luqaimat, and Rgaag bread, offering the real taste of Emirati dishes.

•    At Yaryoor, guests can indulge in Jasheed, a traditional Emirati delicacy served with fragrant rice, reflecting the rich coastal heritage of the nation.

From 1 to 3 December at 9:00PM, guests can also enjoy a breathtaking fireworks display illuminating the night sky in the vibrant colours of the UAE flag. To complement the celebrations, UAE-themed drone shows will take place on 1 and 2 December after the fireworks, offering a captivating modern spectacle that blends technology with national pride.
