Global Village Celebrates With the Nation as UAE Hope Probe Reaches Marsa

Global Village, the UAE and wider region's leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, joined the proud Emirati community and UAE residents in celebration yesterday as the Hope Probe finally reached Mars successfully. The seven-month mission represents the latest milestone moment in the country's history, attracting attention from all corners of the world. Global Village celebrated the achievement with a surprise fireworks display that lit up the skies in red as a special tribute to the Mars mission. 

The UAE's Mars Mission is a testament to the tremendous strides the nation continues to make, showcasing to audiences at home and abroad that anything is possible with vision and resources. This groundbreaking initiative is a proud moment for everyone in the UAE and the broader region. Global Village guests may remember the presence of the Hope Probe replica at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!® museum attraction during their last season and Global Village teams have been following the progress of the mission closely. 

Since Thursday, February 4th, Global Village’s iconic structures have all been lit in red, in honour of Mission Mars. The success of the first Arab Mars mission was livestreamed on the park's Main Stage. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the Global Village management team pressed the Fireworks Button to launch an all-red fireworks display to the surprise and delight of everyone in the park. Simultaneously, the Global Village Lake’s Fire Fountain Show played above the world's largest underwater screen which showed the “Arabs to Mars” logo. Global Village leadership was delighted to celebrate this inspirational accomplishment with their guests, partners and teams to ensure that the evening was another Silver Jubilee Season highlight.
