From precious stones, as nature supplies them, is an extraordinary art unto itself. Modern jewelers, as with their predecessors, must possess not only a sound knowledge of the finest materials, but the creative curiosity and technical virtuosity to awaken in each gem an unimagined brilliance.

Since 1932, the enlightening charm of the jeweler’s art has been the pulsating beat behind of each and every Harry Winston creation. Together with his designers and master craftsmen, our founder, Mr. Winston, changed the way that fine jewelry could be worn by pioneering gem setting techniques that gave diamonds dimension and allowed stones to sparkle from every angle.

Envisioning jewels as the ultimate accompaniment to a woman’s beauty, Mr. Winston once famously stated, “If I could, I would attach the diamonds directly onto a woman’s skin.” And as if the gemstones were woven right onto the wearer, his jewels achieved an unimagined movement and grace, caressing the skin like the most decadent array of faceted fabrics.

Through its latest collection of incredible jewels, the House of Harry Winston arrives one step closer to achieving Mr. Winston’s ultimate dream to one day dress a woman purely in in diamonds, while exploring the art behind our most time-honored traditions of craftsmanship and design.

Entitled Ultimate Adornments by Harry Winston, this incredible array of spectacular designs envisions the international art of dressing a woman in the unique style that only Harry Winston can. In creating this exceptional collection, the Harry Winston Design Team returned to the archives for inspiration, including the works Ambaji V. Shinde, Mr. Winston’s chief jewelry designer for more than 40 years (1962-2001). One of Mr. Shinde’s greatest contributions to the house was his ability to examine the world around him, and translate it into extraordinary jewels. Infusing his own Indian heritage into his designs, Mr. Shinde’s unique international perspective continues to define Winston style today, and serves as the creative catalyst behind this impressive collection.

Hand crafted entirely in diamonds and platinum, the 40-piece collection is presented through seven distinctly different themes, each recalling unique adornments from around the world.

CAFTAN by Harry Winston

Directly inspired by the archival drawings of Ambaji Shinde, Harry Winston’s chief jewelry designer for more than 40 years (1962-2001), this unique series recreates the exotic intricacies of traditional Indian caftans. The centerpieces of the collection are two extraordinary Caftan Necklaces, each hand-crafted using four different techniques in diamond setting: channel-set, prong-set, bezel-set and pave.

QIPAO by Harry Winston

Popularized in Shanghai during the 1920’s, the Qipao is a study in shape and form. Highly detailed, each unique piece incorporates different techniques of diamond setting, including the striking use of carefully calibrated baguette diamonds, precisely cut to realize a perfect circular shape. The tailored fit of a beautiful Qipao Cuff, set with more than 700 diamonds, captures the restrained elegance of the structured silhouette.

GUIPURE by Harry Winston

Exquisite pave diamonds are sculpted into floral motifs evoking the density, yet delicacy of Guipure lace. Exaggerated flowers are intricately layered to bring dimensionality and movement to each piece, including a stunning Guipure necklace, set with more than 50 carats of pave diamonds.

MRS. WINSTON by Harry Winston

This series pays tribute to the original arbiters of Winston-style: our founder, Harry Winston, and his beloved wife, Edna. Reflecting the perfect marriage of Mrs. Winston’s personal style and Mr. Winston’s dream to attach gemstones directly to the skin, diamond drops seamlessly descend from a portrait-style neckline. True showstoppers within the series, the Mrs. Winston bracelet features more than 175 diamonds totaling 45.51 carats, while a matching masterpiece necklace features more than 180 carats of these incredible stones, at an exceptional scale.

DEEL by Harry Winston

Known for structured shape and buttoned fastenings, the Deel is a traditional type of Mongolian dress. To achieve the effect of its folded collars, craftsman carefully recut and calibrated channel-set baguettes, finessing the diamond’s traditionally straight shape into unexpectedly fluid lines. Set with more than 315 diamonds, totaling 86.85 carats, the small Deel Necklace is the stunning result of these technical achievements.

PAILLETTE by Harry Winston

Rows of diamonds capture the shimmering movement of decorative beading. Necklaces and bracelets are draped like sequined scarves to evoke the languid look of old Hollywood glamour. Allowing for maximum movement and flexibility, each of the 560 diamonds in the Paillette Necklace is individually prong-set.

QUEEN by Harry Winston

The Queen of Lace is elegantly rewoven by the King of Diamonds, as the world’s finest diamonds are exquisitely hand-set to achieve the intricate style of Point d’Alençon. Featuring nearly 100-carats of brilliant diamonds, the exquisite Queen necklace is imagined as a charming gamine-style collar, underlining the delicate femininity of the design.
