HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum opens Mercator’s Customer Forum in Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group officiated the opening of Mercator’s Customer Forum at Meydan today. Attended by over 150 international customers the two-day event is hosted by the commercial arm of Emirates Group.

The forum aims to solicit customer voice to help guide future product development helping Mercator meet the increasing needs of its customers.

 “The Mercator Customer Forum is an excellent platform to showcase our award-winning systems whilst working on future product developments directly with our customers. It is testament to our product and our strong team that so many international customers have committed their time to be here for this two day event,” said Sheikh Ahmed.

The President of dnata and Emirates Group Services, Gary Chapman, also welcomed customers, highlighting the important role the event played in enabling Mercator to work collaboratively with its customers.

“It is through the voice of our customers that Mercator continues to deliver superior products and services. These services enable each and every Mercator customer to manage the day-to-day operations of their businesses, equipping them with unique technologies to support their growth.” said Mr Chapman.

Mercator has also signed a landmark deal with Air Algerie which will see the carrier  use seven of its technologies to manage the its passenger and cargo operations. Also present at the event was Malaysian Airlines who uses Mercator’s revenue accounting solution RAPID and recently celebrated the 100 millionth passenger coupon processed via Mercator’s bureau.

Philippine Airlines who utilise Mercator’s CRIS product to manage its frequent flyer program, Mabuhay Miles, also recently announced the processing of its 10th millionth coupon.
