Huawei launches Apps insider solution to automatically analyze mobile applications

Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today launched the Apps Insider solution, a series of innovative digital tools that automatically analyze mobile applications to ensure user experience and reassign network resources.

The adoption of smartphones and increase in the number of mobile applications has risen significantly over recent years, resulting in the development of network signaling storms. To continue improving upon user experience, operators have responded by investigating ways in which mobile applications affect network performance.

To address this issue, Huawei’s mLAB developed the Apps Insider, a series of digital tools designed to automatically analyze mobile applications behavior.  This behavior, and the ways in which it is analyzed by Apps Insider, is explained in detail in Huawei’s recently released white paper: “Analyzing the Network Friendliness of Mobile Applications.”(Find through: http://www.huawei.com/en/industry/huawei-voices/index.htm).

The Apps Insider solution analyzes, evaluates and ranks mobile applications according to how they impact network performance and user experience, providing suggestions for overall optimization. As a result, operators are able to reassign network resources for applications, and developers can improve the efficiency of their applications to reduce their impact on network performance and user experience.
