Huawei Unveiled the Huawei Wifi Q2 Pro Along With Huawei FREEBUDS 3 for Global Release at 2019 IFA
Huawei launched its new-generation whole home Wi-Fi system, HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro, at the 2019 IFA site in Germany. Equipped with Huawei's Gigahome 5630 gigabit PLC modem chip and featuring innovative PLC Turbo technology, the HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro router greatly enhances anti-interference for PLC networking to realize fast data transfers and low latency, laying a groundwork for the widespread adoption of new technologies, such as 200 Mbps broadband and faster fiber-optic broadband.
The HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro can be plugged in in areas with a weak signal for full coverage in even a spacious, multi-story home. The combination of dual-band auto-selection, seamless roaming, and automatic channel optimization, aims to equip Q2 Pro users with a smart Wi-Fi experience that covers every nook and cranny in any household.
Gigabit PLC networking: lossless 200 Mbps broadband coverage
The proliferation of 200 Mbps and faster broadband, along with the increasing number of smart devices in private homes, has caused a sharp surge in transmission traffic on major signal channels.
As a third-generation Huawei base-satellite router, the HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro focuses on resolving the interference problems that occur during network signal transmission. It utilizes Huawei's gigabit PLC modem chip and PLC Turbo technology to substantially reduce signal noise and enhance the quality of communications between base and satellite routers. Compared with its predecessor, the HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro achieves significantly higher networking speeds and lower latency.
Full-home Wi-Fi coverage, with hassle-free plug-and-play
In addition to the 50%–120% increase in networking performance, the HUAWEI Q2 Pro inherits its predecessor's plug-and-play feature, and allows for the connection of up to 15 satellites for every configured base, far exceeding the number of supported secondary routers for similar products. This ensures that every corner in a spacious home has access to a full-speed Internet connection.
In order to provide intelligent Wi-Fi connectability, the HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro supports dual-band auto-selection and seamless roaming, automatically connecting users to the hotspot and frequency band with the strongest signal, and optimizing Wi-Fi channels to prevent interference from nearby signals.
IPv6 support, for increased security and lower latency
Worth noting is that the HUAWEI WiFi Q2 Pro supports the next-generation IPv6 network communication protocol, to further bolster user privacy and network security.

Its precise and real-time 3A call noise reduction algorithm allows HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 to effectively reduce environmental noise3 in order allow the other party to hear more clearly and create a high-quality call experience.
HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 are the first Open-fit TWS earbuds that both support call noise reduction and accurate real-time active noise cancellation. Based on the simulation of ear canal, the output frequency and intensity of the noise reduction signal are adjusted for different ear canal shapes, thus achieving excellent active noise reduction effect, with open-fit wearing. By double-tapping the left earbud to turn on/off ANC function, you can still enjoy crystal clear music even in the crowded metro or a noisy restaurant.
