IBQ launches Qatari training and development programme

IBQ recently launched a series of training and development programmes aimed at Qataris in line with the bank’s continued efforts to train, develop and retain best talent in the industry. This programme falls under IBQ’s ongoing Qatari Development Programme, a home-grown initiative which helps Qatari nationals build in-depth expertise in banking and finance.
The IBQ Qatari Development Programme comprises a range of customized classes for Qataris and brings the day-to-day workplace experience closer to the attendees who are seeking a successful career in the future. The programme is primarily focused on soft business skills, linguistic skills and banking foundations. Qataris joining these classrooms will have the opportunity to get hands-on expertise at various departments of the IBQ.

This is very much in-line with our continued Qatarization strategy.”
“IBQ is one of the fastest growing banks in Qatar with an ambitious growth strategy and therefore our Qatarization programmes play a significant role in establishing a solid workforce. Such a programme is also a solid testament to our aim to become the Employer of Choice in the country.” added Al Sada.
