A special cleaning campaign at IHG’s Dead Sea properties in Jordan

Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea have organized a cleaning day for both resorts, in which colleagues gathered and did a thorough cleaning campaign around both resorts and the Dead Sea beach. This initiative is part of IHG’s global and specifically the IHG cluster hotels in Jordan’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy that the IHG hotels adhere to and abide by.

“We are very keen on being active on the Corporate Social Responsibility front through different and various activities, from hosting orphans to cleaning campaigns”, said Mr. Firas Irsheidat, Area General Manager of Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea. “We are concerned about the environment, and since the Dead Sea is a globally well-known area, we have a responsibility as individuals and entities to preserve this important area and take extra care of it.”

Crowne Plaza Jordan Dead Sea Resort & Spa boasts 420 rooms and suites, including one Presidential Suite and one Royal suite. Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea offers a place where you can relax and rejuvenate in the year round UV-filtered sunshine, low humidity, oxygenated air, and of course the Dead Sea itself, with its healing mineral-rich waters. The resort offers 202 guest rooms and family suites, as well as 5 dining outlets to choose from. As for the leisure facilities, there is a fully equipped modern fitness center with steam bath and sauna, as well as fascinating pool facilities.
