IKEA Kuwait was recently visited by its Swedish counterparts for the first time to impart a deeper insight into the IKEA brand and the core values that drive the workforce toward achieving a satisfactory end – result.

The team comprising of xxx, xxx and xx discussed various aspects during the 3 day brand training program that would help to build a stronger foundation across the different departments ranging from sales, human resources, logistics, accounting, and communications to food & beverage and so on. The employees were encouraged to function according to the principles by which the IKEA founder himself, Ingvar Kamprad followed through to make the company a success.

The employees underwent a series of exercises that further demonstrated the brands qualities and how to develop each division in achieving the ultimate goal. The highly interactive workshop was also designed to understand the nature of the local consumers and how their tastes and preferences are to be considered when introducing new a product line. IKEA’s ongoing fundamental objective has always been simple and achievable worldwide and that is to offer a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them.

The Swedish trainers ended by saying that every staff member is a brand advocate and that IKEA Kuwait should continue to provide a world class branded customer experience while also delivering exceptional product quality and durability in order to sustain the momentum.
