Info2cell.com, the leading mobile service application provider in the Middle East, has announced that it has completed 11 years of partnership with British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The Info2cell.com-BBC partnership has expanded steadily and currently involves 21 mobile operators across the MENA countries, catering to the rapidly increasing subscriber base.

Info2cell.com has been collaborating with BBC over the past decade to introduce an array of services in Arabic and English, including the SMS Breaking News service and the BBC Audio and Video Bulletin services. The two parties have been closely coordinating with each other to explore avenues of further extending the scope of their partnership. Moreover, in commemoration of the 11-year partnership, Info2cell.com recently presented a trophy of appreciation to BBC.

The SMS Breaking News service in particular has consistently received overwhelming response from subscribers in the region. The service allows subscribers to receive SMS updates of breaking news and events from all over the world. An extension of this service includes the BBC News audio and video services wherein subscribers receive audio messages of BBC news updates in English and Arabic and video news clips in Arabic.
