Injaz Kuwait Successfully Concludes Its 'Social Innovation Camp' Workshop

INJAZ Kuwait has successfully concluded its “Social Innovation Camp” workshop, held in collaboration with “Zahhab”, a student community that provides all the necessary academic assistance to university students and professors. Held at Al Shaheed Park, on Wednesday 13 December 2017, the workshop has witnessed the participation of 70 students, from different universities, who have enjoyed the workshop and the competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere which filled up the venue.

INJAZ’s Innovation Camp’s four-hour workshop is part of INJAZ Kuwait’s series of programs and workshops which aim at helping students to understand the concept of social entrepreneurship and develop their skills to think critically and analytically towards finding the most appropriate solutions to their business challenges. Participants were divided into groups; a specialised consultant was hired to help each of them to compete with the rest of the teams.

Laila Al-Mutairi, INJAZ Kuwait CEO said: “Proud of students who participated in this workshop and shared their ideas and innovative projects in a way that reflects their skills and talents. Participating teams have presented their own innovative business solutions to a panel of judges which included Mrs. Laila Al-Mutairi, INJAZ Kuwait CEO, Mr. Mohammad Al Momen, University Coordinator of Zahhab Kuwait and Mr. Abdullah Kamal, Communications & Partnerships Director at UNESCO, where they carefully evaluated each solution presented based on the teams' level of innovation. The facilitator was Mr. Jarrah Albuloushi.

INJAZ Kuwait will continue to equip and support youth, to ensure a more prosperous future for generations to come.
