Injazat pledges technical assistance for Ewaa Shelters for Women & Children

Injazat Data Systems has signed a Technical Support Agreement with Ewaa Shelters, a non-profit organization providing assistance and care for women and children victims of human trafficking, to enhance community activities and services for vulnerable members of the community.
Under the terms of the agreement, Injazat will provide support services for Ewaa Shelters headquarter in Abu Dhabi and shelters in the Northern Emirates. The coverage includes IT technical support, maintenance and local network services.
The initiative underscores Injazat’s commitment to serving the public through active participation in organizations and activities that focus on community health and safety, environmental protection, social development and cultural awareness.
Injazat fully supports Ewaa Shelters’ advocacy of providing relief, shelter, care, rehabilitation, follow-up and protection to women and children victims. “Such cooperation is part of Ewaa’s objectives of improving work efficiency, sustainability, and confidentiality of information. These areas need constant improvement to help victims more effectively and cope with challenges faced by the community,” said Sarah Shuhail , Executive Director, Ewaa Shelters.
“Injazat is privileged to be partnered with EWAA to upgrade and modernize their IT capabilities and enhance their community support services in Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates. This partnership will allow us to significantly contribute towards EWAA success and enable them to achieve their goals. Information assurance is essential for the security of thevictims’ information, and Injazat is able to offer that capability,” added Ibrahim Lari, CEO, Injazat Data Systems.
Ewaa Shelter in Abu Dhabi was established in 2008 via a decree by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of the UAE Red Crescent Authority under which the non-profit organization operates. It was launched to complement Federal Law No. 51 of 2006, which considers human trafficking an offense punishable by law.
The shelters were established for a noble cause. They seek to improve the quality of social services provided to victims of human trafficking in the UAE, specifically in terms of giving them a safe haven, reassuring and helping them overcome the physical and psychological effects of their difficult experiences, and extending health and social support.
