INSEAD, the leading international business school, has been ranked number four of the 100 schools considered overall – the best ranked programme offered by a single school (the first three are all partnerships) in the Financial Times’ 2011 rankings of 100 Executive MBA programmes.

INSEAD Dean Dipak C. Jain said: “INSEAD will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its Abu Dhabi campus next year, and we are proud to play a role in nurturing a pool of leadership talent to support Abu Dhabi’s vision of becoming a global education and business hub.

“The FT rankings are testament to the culture of excellence we have built over the past few years to achieve this. The international aspect of the INSEAD Executive MBA programme is clearly recognised in this ranking, and further strengthens Abu Dhabi’s reputation of attracting and retaining top international talent.”

Participants will have the opportunity to spend half the course time on INSEAD’s Fontainebleau and Abu Dhabi campuses, benefitting from a more diverse EMBA class.

The other half of the course will comprise a newly developed Asia section, which will run over the course of 17 months, with the majority of the coursework at the school’s Singapore campus.

"INSEAD’s objective has been to bring to Abu Dhabi and the Middle East region the quality of Executive MBA programme that was only available to executives in the United States, Europe, or East Asia. Our Financial Times ranking as the best EMBA programme in the world (you already say that above), for the second year, testifies to our dedication to quality. Participants in the Middle East benefit from the same curriculum and faculty as those in our other campuses. In only two years since its inception, the Middle East section of the INSEAD Executive MBA has become the top-ranked EMBA in the region, and attracts executives both from the region and across the world to our campus in Abu Dhabi,” said Javier Gimeno, Professor of Strategy at INSEAD.

Peter Zemsky, INSEAD’s Deputy Dean, Degree Programme and Curriculum, added: “We continue to diversify the programme with a new Asian section (available from August 2012) which complements the existing Europe/Asia and Middle East sections. We recognise the growing demand from executives in emerging countries as well as developed economies to develop their business management skills in a truly international setting, and INSEAD’s EMBA programme delivers that.”
