Iranian International Ali Reza Khalatbari joins Al Wasl

Al Wasl Football Company announces the official signing of the 28 year old attacking midfielderAli Reza Khalatbari from Qatari side Al Gharrafa. The midfielder signed a 6 months contract in the presence of H.E. Marwan Bin Beyat, Chairman of Al Wasl Football Company,H.E. Sweidan Al Naboodah, Vice Chairman and Mr.Abdullah Al-Bishr, Acting CEO of Al Wasl Football Company.

Ali Reza Khalatbariis considered to be a solid addition to Al Wasl and is a talented and very skilled attacking midfielder. He is considered to be one of the new professionals who will substitute one of twoforeign players whoweren’t successful with Al Wasl this season.

Looking to further strengthen theteam, Al Wasl managementand coach Diego Maradona, have made it clear that there will be some new signings made with the aim of reinforcing the team with players who can be of added value and that make a real difference.

Marwan Bin Beyat said: “We are using the current winter transfer window to restructure parts of the team based on our evaluation of the players in the past 4 months and after discussions with coachMaradona. Ali Reza is an exceptionally talented player and has the experience and skills that will help add value to the team.
