The Wellscape at Iridium Beach Cabana

Guests can choose a treatment from either the Indulge or the Revel category of the beachside cabana spa’s menu and receive a complimentary Loosen Up treatment, a 15-minute cooling neck and shoulder massage that is delivered using aloe gel and also includes an application of sunscreen. Each recipient will also receive an AED 100 gift voucher to redeem against their next session at the venue.

Iridium Beach Cabana is located by the beach entrance. Open daily from 10am to 7pm, it offers facials and massages by the sea, including cold stone therapy and cooling treatments for sunburnt skin.

During Iridium Destress, the therapist will drizzle the Neom Organics Intensive Skin Treatment warm oil over the skin. This wax-like blend comprises 24 pure essential oils and its calming aroma will put you at ease as soon as you enter the room. A guided meditation session will be followed by reflexology and advice on breathing techniques. Your therapist will then massage key stress relieving points, harnessing shiatsu, scalp, Thai massage and trigger point techniques to release muscular tension.

Iridium Spa invites guests to experience the newest multifunctional technology in skincare. 3Tox has been named an alternative to Botox and uses the power ofmesotherapy, a procedure in which vitamins, minerals and amino acids are delivered into the mesodermal layer of tissue under the skin. Regenerating and revitalizing the skin’s natural elasticity, this advanced, results-driven treatment will give the complexion an instant glow while addressing concerns such as skin laxity, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

This treatment lasts 90 minutes and will be preceded by a 30-minute skin analysis session. Available from Sundays to Wednesdays, it is available for the discounted rate of AED 750 (usual price AED 1,000).

Delicious Hammam Duet

Guests are invited to enjoy the essence of either orange blossom or patchouli flowers imported from North Africa’s Atlas Mountains. This invigorating treatment, which also incorporates desert sand, will be followed by the application of a unique Oriental body milk that will hydrate and soften the skin. Iridium Spa’s Delicious Hammam Duet deal includes an hour-long spell in its traditional Turkish-style steam room and a 30-minute body massage, followed by a dessert. This 90-minute package is priced AED 600 per person.

Fitness aficionados flock to St. Regis Saadiyat Athletic Club, which includes a large state-of-the-art gym, a juice bar and a 25-meter indoor lap pool. Housing two tennis courts and two squash courts, this exclusive fitness center offers a variety of group classes. All prices include taxes.

Personal training

Change the way you live with a private exercise session in your preferred activity. Keep-fit favorites include, yoga, Pilates and Zumba; alternatively, enhance your self-defense skills with one-on-one tuition in boxing, karate, or mixed martial arts. Classes for expectant and new mothers, or modified to suit people with injuries, can also be arranged. All fitness instructors are internationally certified and can tailor programs to meet individual requirements and goals.

PRICE: Individual lessons are priced at AED 350 per class; for pairs, the price is AED 450 per class. The price for 12 sessions is: AED 4,000 for one person, rising to AED 5,000, AED 6,000, and AED 7,000 for two, three, or four people respectively.

Group classes

Various fun classes are conducted in the multi-functional studios. Sessions include Total Body Blast, Aqua Swim Fit, yoga, Power Abs, boxing, and indoor cycling (‘spinning’). Members pay AED 54 per class or AED 488 per 10 classes. Non-members pay AED 71 per class or AED 600 per 10 classes. Prices are inclusive.
