Jafza brings together employees for better interpersonal communication

Jafza, the flagship Free Zone under Economic Zones World organised an iftar for its employees at the Dubai World Trade Centre with the aim of strengthening the team spirit and bonding in the organization. 

CEO Economic Zones World and Jafza, Mrs. Salma Ali Saif bin Hareb and the senior management also attended the iftar. 

Speaking on the occasion, Salma Hareb highlighted the importance of bringing employees together in social settings which foster interpersonal communication in a friendly and family atmosphere. 

"Jafza’s annual iftar gathering for employees is a vital part of our commitment to providing a healthy work environment to our employees, to help strengthen their sense of belonging," she said, adding

“These iftars are yet another way for us to bring together the various nationalities within the organisation to enhance teamwork, cooperation and interaction.” 

Jafza’s Chief Resources Officer Adel Bin Turkeya, said: “This occasion reflects the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation, and the keenness of the senior management to communicate with employees. 

“Events such as these go a long way in strengthening interdependence and cooperation among staff as they promote team spirit and contribute to raising the sense of loyalty among staff." 

Across the spectrum, attendees appreciated the opportunity to meet colleagues outside work in a fun and light atmosphere, which builds stronger ties between them at all levels. 

Board games, a calligraphy station and a caricature artist had also been arranged as part of the entertainment for the evening.
