Jazeera Airways sponsors 12th Edition of Kuwait Times student art competition

JAZEERA Airways, the first private airline in Kuwait and the Middle East, is the exclusive airline sponsor of the 12th Edition of Kuwait Times annual student art competition labeled ‘Kuwait Beautiful and Green’. The nationwide contest, expected to run until 20 April, 2017, is divided under five different categories, encouraging students aged between 6-8, 9-11,12-14,15-18 and special needs to participate and win due recognition.
‘Kuwait Beautiful and Green’ has been a consistent theme with the well-known English publication as it serves to highlight Kuwait’s exceptional landscape and picturesque environment. A panel of high profile judges from the Kuwaiti and expatriate communities will evaluate the art works based on the category of the participant.
“Epitomizing Kuwait’s cultural portrayal through the eyes of the students offers a fresh perspective of how the country has grown, especially with recent developments that have added to the urban habitat currently. We are honored to be part of a platform that encourages young minds in our community to explore their talent and help in the visual preservation of our wonderful country,” said Dr. Mohamed Barakat, VP Marketing and Product.
Jazeera Airways will continue to sponsor more activities that fall in line with the airline’s corporate social responsibility to support the youth in diverse areas and nurture a strong generation.
Since its inception over a decade ago, Jazeera Airways has strengthened its presence by currently flying to over 15 destinations and continues to serve as a beacon of excellence for innovative products and services to enhance travel experience on ground and in the air. Only recently, Jazeera Airways introduced a dedicated business lounge adjacent to its respective gates at Kuwait International Airport and is now scheduled to reveal its brand-new terminal that will showcase a broad portfolio of advanced technological and innovative solutions, as a testimony to its pioneering spirit. This is in addition to its mobile app designed for those wishing to book their tickets or check in online, as well as its newly launched WhatsApp phone number for all Jazeera passengers and interested customers, and many other innovative ideas that promise to change the travel experience in Kuwait and the region.
