Jerash Governor Honors Abu-Ghazaleh for Receiving the Oscar "Most Prominent Arab Scientific Personality of 2020” Education Award

To honor HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), the Jerash Governorate has organized a ceremony to celebrate his receiving of the OSCAR  "The Most Prominent Arab Scientific Personality of the Year 2020” Education Award.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Jerash Governor, Dr. Firas Abu Qaoud, in the presence of Mayor of Jerash Greater Municipality, Dr. Ali Gogazeh, and Head of Irbid Police Department, Dr. Nasser Al-Da'jah, in addition to a host of Jerash governorate’s dignitaries and high-ranking personalities.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s success in winning the OSCAR Education Award was declared following a six-day survey conducted by the Human Development Training Center (HDTC) in Dubai, the UAE, where Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh received the highest number of votes from 70 countries.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, trainees who participated in  the “Training of Trainers” course held at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Station in Jerash Governorate were graduated.

During the gathering, Abu Qaoud commended the efforts exerted by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS), particularly in making the training courses a success, as well as the contributions offered by TAG.Global that aim at developing the youth capacities to become more qualified and competent to meet labor market needs, calling on all graduates to carry on the development of their capabilities and skills.

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his deep gratitude and pride for the honoring ceremony organized by Jerash governorate, affirming the significance of the strategic partnership between TAG.Global and local community in all governorates throughout the Kingdom. 

He also called for further cooperation between various local community institutions to develop, train, qualify and enable young people to compete in labor market. 

At the closing of the ceremony, shields were exchanged and certificates were given to graduates.

It is worth mentioning that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has been offering the local community with distinctive training courses, awareness campaigns and free-of-charge training programs in the Governorate of Jerash.

TAG-Knowledge Station is one of a chain of knowledge stations established all over the Kingdom, with the aim of providing the youth and students with advanced technological tools in the field of Information and Communication Technology to enrich their expertise and qualify them to meet local and regional labor market needs.
