Jetour and Elite Group Holding Participate in the UAE National Environment Day by Teaming Up with Azraq for an Impactful Beach Clean-Up

 Recognising that responsible mobility also means caring for the environment beyond the road, Jetour and Elite Group Holding marked UAE National Environment Day with a hands-on initiative rooted in collective action. The beach clean-up took place at Sunset Beach and was designed to create real environmental impact with the support of Azraq and members of the Jetour team. Marked annually on February 4th, UAE National Environment Day reflects the UAE’s focus on environmental stewardship, with projects like this playing an active role in supporting the nation’s ambitious sustainability goals.

The morning began with the Jetour team arriving at the designated beach location, where they were welcomed with safety gear, equipment, and a short briefing. Participants were then assigned specific shoreline zones, working together to remove waste that was carefully sorted and directed towards recycling. By the end of the clean-up, 25 participants had collected approximately 3.27 kg of waste, contributing directly to cleaner coastal ecosystems.

To support the beach clean-up, Jetour UAE and Elite Group Holding partnered with Azraq, a UAE-based marine conservation organisation registered with the Community Development Authority. Named after the Arabic word for blue, Azraq works to safeguard ocean biodiversity while making marine conservation accessible through education, awareness, and hands-on programmes. The organisation’s mission to protect marine life and encourage active participation perfectly aligns with Jetour and Elite Group Holding’s focus on responsible travel and respect for nature.
