JOTUN, the Kingdom’s No. 1paint manufacturer launched its second MEIA (Middle East, India and Africa) Graduate Program. A strategic initiative designed to turn new labor regulations into an advantage by recruiting, developing and hiring young Saudi talent.

“We are strong believers that, as members of this community, we must lead in fueling the growth of localization in the Kingdom’s workforce,” said Mr. Dave Wright, Managing Director at Jotun Saudia. “By bringing in sharp, young recruits, training them in the company’s operations and planting the seeds for productive and satisfying careers; it is a win-win for everyone – the recruit, the company and the society.”

“We are very keen to maintain our position in the Kingdom while continuing to invest in growing and empowering a local workforce.” Added Mr. Wright. He explained that the second phase of the program starts up in May 2015, though many applicants have already made their way to an early registration into the program.

The one-year extensive training program kicks off with a full overview of Jotun’s global operations as well as a detailed accounting of the company’s manufacturing and business activities in Saudi Arabia.

This is one of a kind graduate program that will allow the candidates to join the Jotun companies and work within the given job descriptions, molding them into future leaders. A lot of Saudi youth who succeeded through phase one, now hold well known and good positions at JOTUN. Corporate culture is also introduced to recruits through induction in Jotun’s corporate values, social responsibility initiatives and commitment to environmental protection through its global Green Steps program.

Those interested in applying for the program can do so by going to the company’s website – Jotun.com/careers.
