Journalists and media reps live the Korean experience with “LG” in the heart of seoul

LG Electronics, the global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, mobile communications and home appliances, has recently organized a trip for journalists and representatives of audiovisual media, newspapers, magazines, and websites from Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq, to visit its main factory in Korea, as an appreciation reward for the best media coverage of LG news in 2011.
During the five days trip, which lasted from September 25th – 29th, journalists visited LG’s factory in the Korean capital, Seoul, toured the company’s headquarters, and visited its showrooms where they experienced the Optimus 3D Mobile and personally recorded 3D clips. They also lived a vivid experience through watching 3D content on LG’s 3D Cinema TV, and viewing the new plasma TV, PenTouch, along with numerous other exciting products.
They further got the chance to visit the Design Center where modern technologies are innovated, the Research & Development Center where LG’s technology studies are conducted, and the company’s headquarters, the LG Twin Towers, where they attended sessions and presentations on the history of LG Electronics, its most notable achievements, and its social responsibility role. Additionally, they had a comprehensive orientation on LG’s most prominent products, especially ones with 3D technology – for which LG is considered an international market pioneer, and a next-generation technology leader.
Commenting on the trip, Mr. Firas Shabaneh, LG Electronics Levant Brand & Marketing Manager, said, “The trip offered an excellent chance for media figures that represent LG in relative markets to visit the company’s head factories, departments, and showrooms, thus giving them a deeper insight into the products and brand which they cover.”
Shabaneh further expressed his gratitude for the collaboration and interest shown by the media representatives during the trip, saying, “This trip has fulfilled its intended goal and objective, which is to validate and endorse the media’s role as partners and supporters of LG’s strive to success.”
On the other hand, the media representatives praised the importance of organizing such a trip, as it had opened up horizons for them to closely discover LG’s brand and the culture which stems from it. They also expressed their deep content to explore Korea’s tourism and cultural landmarks, and highlighted the role of such activities in widening their creative scope and understanding of the products at hand.
