Juma Al Majid Hyundai sponsor ‘Speed Kills’ campaign
Juma Al Majid Est., sole distributor for Hyundai Motors in the UAE, has announced that it is partnering with Dubai Police as an official sponsor for its ‘Speed Kills’ campaign. The road safety initiative aims to reduce the death and injury toll from serious car accidents on Dubai’s highways that result from driving too fast.
“As one of the world’s leading car producers, Hyundai is very much aware of its responsibility for promoting road safety. We are honoured to be able to partner with Dubai Police in this extremely important initiative that aims to reduce the deaths and injuries that occur when vehicles are speeding. Through this campaign, we will be promoting the highest levels of safety for citizens by highlighting the dangers of driving too fast and other malpractices commonly committed by vehicle drivers," said Axel Dreyer, President, Hyundai UAE.
The ‘Speed Kills’ campaign will apply an integrated strategy that aims to reduce accidents and deaths on the emirate's roads to zero by 2020. To achieve this goal, Dubai Police is working with several agencies to launch awareness of road safety and is coordinating with other government departments in the preparation of periodic reports that will evaluate the initiative’s success.
