Kahramaa and Russian Delegation Discuss Trade Opportunities

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has deliberated the prospects of developing joint cooperation and business opportunities with a visiting delegation from Russian Electricity companies in a meeting held at its headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Kahramaa’s Electricity Network Affairs Director, Eng. Abdulla Al Theyab and senior officials including concerned departments’ managers, section heads and other senior functionaries of both sides.

The meeting which was focused on exploring prospective business opportunities and future cooperation in the arena of capital electricity projects of Qatar witnessed the screening of presentations from Kahramaa and participating companies about their overviews, ongoing projects, possibilities of entering business relationship among others. The Russian companies’ representatives highlighted through presentations their ongoing related mega projects across the globe. The delegation expressed its happiness for the meeting and discussed the ways and means of joint cooperation for their involvement with Qatar Power Transmission System Expansion Projects.

Aiming its vision of setting a global benchmark for performance, technological innovation, environmental sustainability and social responsibility in electricity & water Sector, Kahramaa endeavours to widen up its business horizons to help achieving a realistic vision and approach for Qatar under the wise and praiseworthy leadership of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani in view of unjustified siege imposed by few countries.
