Kearney Appoints New Lead For Communications, Media, and Technology Practice in MEA

Adel Belcaid, head of the Communications, Media, and Technology

Global strategy and management consulting firm, Kearney has promoted Adel Belcaid to head of the Communications, Media, and Technology (CMT) practice for Middle East and Africa. In his new role, Adel will be responsible for growing the firm’s footprint in the CMT sectors across the MEA region, working with key clients on strategic planning, transformation, procurement, economic development, customer experience, sales and marketing, e-commerce, and organizational development.

Based in Dubai, Adel has over 22 years of strategy and operational experience acquired through his engagements in the Middle East, Europe, and the USA. As a partner, he advises corporations, regulators and government agencies in telecommunications, media, e-commerce, e-retail, and, e-distribution. Over the course of his career, Adel has led over 100 engagements with mobile and fixed carriers, media publishers/broadcasters, content producers, consumer goods retailers and water utility distributors.

Prior to joining Kearney, Adel spent several years with Booz & Company in Dubai and Nokia Networks in Finland. He holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, USA, and a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from ENSEIRB, France. He is a Fulbright Scholar and holds a patent in mission-critical telecommunications. He is fluent in Arabic, French, English and conversant in Spanish and Finnish.
