Kempinski Hotel Aqaba announces the arrival of Stefan Goehcke, Chef de Cuisine for the elegant seafood restaurant Fish In.

The 31 year old German national has gained extensive international experience in fine dining Michelin star restaurants and award winning luxury resorts and cruise ships. Hs passion started early in life, with his grandmother’s encouragement to develop his love of cooking, culinary skills and ambition, Stefan comes full circle, at the pinnacle of his career joining Kempinski’s flagship Aqaba property, following a family tradition, as his grandmother started her career at the first Kempinski hotel in Berlin, Germany more than a century ago.

He has worked for some of the finest European restaurants such as Restaurant Margaux in Berlin, Restaurant Victorian in Duesseldorf, The Capital by Eric Chavot in London, to name a few.

Stefan’s passion is to combine European flair, the art of luxury experiences, with the local flavors by using only the best of regional produce for his extraordinary dishes.  “I am thrilled to add to my cooking style a solid portion of Jordanian and Middle Eastern flavors and to make every visit to Kempinski’s Seafood Restaurant a unique and memorable experience.” He remarks.
