Khalifa University holds fourth Annual Career Fair
Khalifa University organized its fourth annual Career Fair at its Sharjah campus on May 2nd, 2012. The aim the Career Fair was to support Khalifa University’s graduates in finding suitable and rewarding careers after they’ve completed their studies.
Many leading private and public sector entities attended the career fair including: DU, Etisalat, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Emirates Advanced Investments Group, Mubadala, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Dubai Aluminum (DUBAL), Khalifa University based Etisalat BT Innovation Centre (EBTIC), the Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC) and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Scholarship Program (Buhooth).
Dr. Mohammed Al-Mualla, Senior Vice President for Research and Development at Khalifa University, said; “Khalifa University, through its strong academic offering, and multi-disciplinary approach offers students a cultivating environment to develop new skills, which will allow them to pursue exciting careers in whatever field they choose. I am confident that all our graduates will go on to contribute to the development of the UAE economy.”
He added: “The annual career fair allows leading organizations to meet our exceptional students. We are proud that so far Khalifa University Graduates benefit from a high job placement rate and have secured jobs in top organizations both in the UAE and overseas.”
