Khalifa University students meet with future employers to kick off their career

Khalifa University held today a Career Fair at its Abu Dhabi campus, where over 25 industry leaders came together and offered the University students various opportunities such as internships, employment, part time/summer jobs, scholarship opportunities, final project guides and discussions about which majors to choose from.

The exhibitor list included leading organizations from a number of relevant industries such as Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), Mubadala, Yahsat, Emirates Advanced Investments Group and other organizations.

“We are proud to have around 50 students at their final year”, said Dr. Jay Noren, Khalifa University’s Provost. “We believe that our students will greatly benefit by engaging with major employers in the UAE. Our students are recognized nationally for their academic strengths, and we attach significant value to practical work experience as well which complements the overall development of our students. Our aim is to graduate future leaders that will generate greater sustainability to the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision.”

Khalifa University works closely with a number of local, regional and international organizations to enhance the academic experience of its students and provide them with the tools they need to support the nation’s current and future development plans. All Khalifa University students graduate with internship experience, and as such they are more readily prepared for the work challenges and opportunities that await them.
