KIB organizes “Your Health Matters” awareness event for its employees
In line with its unwavering commitment to supporting its employees’ health and safety, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently organized the internal health awareness event, “Your Health Matters”, in collaboration with the International Hospital. The event included a series of medical checkups and services, such as blood pressure and blood sugar tests, ocular examination, in addition to specialized nutritional and orthopedic consultations.
This event comes as an extension of the Bank's comprehensive corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, which centers on the best sustainable corporate practices and adheres to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
In light of the event, Hamad Al-Rasheed from the Corporate Communications Department at KIB, said: "Our employees are the cornerstone of KIB’s success and sustainable growth, which is why their health and safety are a top priority. By organizing such events, we aim to raise health awareness among our employees and encourage them to adopt healthy practices that contribute to improving their quality of life, inside and outside the workplace."
In line with its comprehensive CSR program, KIB remains committed to organizing, supporting, and sponsoring a diverse range of health and community initiatives. These initiatives include internal events targeting its employees – most notably the blood donation campaign "Your Donation Saves Lives" – as well as community-centered initiatives, such as sporting events, mental and physical health awareness campaigns, and humanitarian contributions that benefit the local and regional communities.
