KidZania Kuwait Welcomes a New Mascot Bekhaa
KidZania Kuwait, the exciting kid-centric metropolis welcomes the 6th RightZKeeper of the KidZania Nation, BEKHA - guardian of the right “To Be”. Bekha is self-determined, free and unique, and supports harmony with humankind. She is grounded by the idea of freedom: the power to act, speak and think as one wants, without hindrance or restraint.
When kids enter KidZania Kuwait, they will not only get to explore its many kid-sized establishments, they will also get to meet KidZania’s 6 most celebrated citizens known as “RightZKeepers” — Bekha (To Be), Urbano (To Know), Vita (To Care), Chika (To Share), Beebop (To Create) and Bache (To Play). Together, they embody these RightZ and represent KidZania’s essence of being fun, inclusive, multicultural and a promoter of values.
Commenting on the arrival of Bekha, Vice President of Leisure and Entertainment Department at M.H. Alshaya Co., Fernando Medroa said: “The most treasured gifts of children in KidZania are their fundamental rights to be, to know, to create, to share, to care and to play. The introduction of Bekha matches with the values of kids today, and reinforces KidZania’s responsibility to create experiences for children that encourage empathy, ethical behavior, positive values and good citizenship.”
He added: “At KidZania it is very important for us to highlight our commitment to encourage equality and human rights enforcement for children everywhere. Children relate to these characters universally, helping to develop values and rights that are relevant in real life too.”
Bekha is a philanthropist; her actions are based on people’s belief that they have a duty to help their fellow human beings. She’s passionate of the study of different Nations, Cultures, and Social Groups, and of course, this makes her have a deep interest in Human History, Sociology and Anthropology. Her birthday is on December 10th, International Day of Human Rights. She is really into reading novels, study about other cultures, jazz music, surfing and mountain climbing. Her biggest dream is to speak at the United Nations.
