Kidzania Partners With Yokohama to Teach Dubai Youngsters Road Safety

KidZania® – the award-winning children’s edutainment centre managed by Emaar Entertainment in The Dubai Mall – has partnered with Yokohama, the Japanese tyre company and Emirates Driving Institute to teach Dubai youngsters road safety through a number of innovative initiatives.

Children can now learn about road safety with Emirates Driving Institute through a variety of activities including general safety on the roads, how to be safe as a pedestrian and the correct way to use the roads while riding a bike or driving a car. These are all part of the learning programme with the aim of increasing awareness among children. Following the training, children will also be tested interactively with 10 multiple choice questions on road safety. If they pass the test, they are entitled to receive a driver’s license from Emirates Driving Institute.

Further, on December 19, KidZania® visitors can attend a session at Yokohama’s Tire Centre to learn about the importance of tyres, their use, safety and the various types made by Yokohama. A short educational video will also be shown while a specially trained supervisor will be on hand to teach young ones how to change tyres.
