Kingston Holdings, the  region’s leading  promoter of energy efficient solutions, has appointed Four Communications, the integrated communications agency, for a region-wide public relations programme to support the group’s strong growth in the Middle East and North Africa.

In 2011, Kingston Holdings saw a 53 per cent year on year increase in revenues against tough market conditions. With new products and expanding facilities, it expects to see this strong growth continue in 2012. To support this growth, Four Communications has been tasked with raising the profile of Kingston Holdings and its many brands, which include Pierlight ME, its Joint Venture with Pierlite Australia, the leading brand in energy saving lighting; Rexton, security and home solutions; as well as its Highland stores, the retail and distribution arm of Kingston Holdings.

Kingston Holdings is also a market leader in home automation, an emerging sector where there is already strong demand from high and middle income households as well as developers of high end exclusive properties.

Mr Lalu Samuel, Chairman and Managing Director, Kingston Holdings, said: “Since we first established the company more than 15 years ago, we have been strong advocates for energy efficient solutions. We know as much as 30 - 70% of your total energy consumption can be saved by simple changes  in your electrical solutions and lighting. As the environment continues to scale the global agenda, we want to help companies and individuals here in this region reduce their carbon footprints in the easiest way possible. We have both the products and the expertise, and with the help of Four Communications, we want to spread the word that we are here to help make a positive change, both for the planet and  your electricity bills.”

Kingston Holdings provides a wide range of energy efficient solutions through its many joint ventures, including Pierlite, the industry leading brand in energy efficient lighting (including LED and solar lighting). Its joint venture with Gold Peak brings Vectrix, the zero carbon motorcycle, and recyclable consumer batteries. The newly acquired Omega Hitec offers integrated home solutions from Pierlite, Schneider and Rexton, which can centralise security, CCTV system, telephone access, audio visual systems, computer networking, lighting and appliance control, with simple, programmable automation, creating the luxurious high tech homes of the future.
