KPMG Bahrain continues to raise awareness on cyber security threats

Hosting a series of awareness sessions for school students, professional services firm, KPMG in Bahrain, recently hosted an awareness session for The One Multinational School Bahrain students to teach them about the importance of cyber security and the potential risks and threats that are posed by cyber criminals. This is a critical part of the firm’s ongoing efforts to educate young people on how to deal with risks related to operating within a digital environment and how can they stay safe while being online. 

The two-hour session took place on Thursday, 23 February 2023 at the school’s premises in Adliya, and it provided the students with pragmatic tips and tactics as to how they can become cyber smart and protect their personal and sensitive personal data on social media and online gaming platforms. The students also benefited from discussing ‘online’ identity protection and how they can protect themselves from cyber bullying.
