​​​​​​​KPMG in Bahrain drives their commitment towards lifelong learning through their youth development initiative - the Hussain Kasim Internship Program.

KPMG in Bahrain drives their commitment towards lifelong learning through their youth development initiative - the Hussain Kasim Internship Program. This year, despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the internship program has continued. 48 Interns were accommodated within the firm, of which 50% of the interning students were then offered full time positions with KPMG.  During prior years, this program has accommodated 50 – 80 students per year to support young Bahrainis development in their initial work experience and career step.

The Hussain Kasim Internship Program was established to provide learning opportunities for Bahraini students from leading universities in Bahrain and Internationally.  The program helps the students gain valuable work experience while also providing them with the opportunity to learn and prepare for the success of their future careers. The program has been named in the honor of Hussain Kasim, the co-founder of KPMG in Bahrain, as prior to founding the firm in partnership with Jassim Fakhro, they were respected teachers in the community, and have always been passionate about supporting young Bahraini professionals the learning and knowledge they require for a solid start to their careers in the marketplace.

as the first national accounting and auditing firm and today it has grown to be one of the largest professional services firms in the Kingdom.
