KPMG in Bahrain to shed light on the importance of financial management to enable enterprises’ growth
As part of KPMG in Bahrain’s its ongoing initiatives to support the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the firm is gearing up to host the Entrepreneurs Forum seminar on Tuesday 14 March 2017 at the Gulf Hotel. Under the theme ‘the importance of accounting and financing’, the event will focus on the benefits of sound finance management for SMEs and startups.
Harish Gopinath, partner and head of KPMG Enterprise at KPMG in Bahrain, commented, “Financial management is the foundation of any successful business. In today’s fast-paced marketplace, businesses need to be agile by having instant access to accurate financial information, enabling them to take the best decision at the right time. I believe the event will be an ideal platform for entrepreneurs to learn about best practices and technologies in this field.”
The one-day seminar will feature presentations, a panel discussion and testimonials from representatives of government and private sector organizations in Bahrain. Attendees will also have the opportunity to see a live demonstration of KPMG’s Enterprise Accounting Solution (EAS), a technology-enabled accounting system.
“The increasing complexity of market regulations, the introduction of Valued-Added Tax and growing competition all mean that to thrive, businesses must focus on efficiencies and optimizing business activities. I am pleased to present our EAS, specifically designed for entrepreneurs, utilizing advanced technologies provided by smartphones and portable devices to make financial management processes simple and available to everyone at a competitive price.”
