Lexus named as official sponsor of Dubai Distinctive Number Plates Public Auction by RTA at Dubai International Motor Show 2015

Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Lexus in the UAE, has partnered with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) as the official sponsor for its Dubai Distinctive Number Plates Public Auction event, which takes place on 14th November during Dubai International Motor Show.

“Lexus has always been supportive to the UAE government and this event specifically appeals to an elite audience of motorists who share Lexus’ passion for luxury,” said Chris Buxton, General Manager of Lexus Sales at Al-Futtaim Motors. “Our association with RTA on this occasion reiterates our commitment to an important segment of the UAE motoring scene.”

Attendees of the auction will have opportunity to check the all-new Lexus RX crossover launched on the first day of the Dubai Motor Show, alongside the recently introduced new Lexus LX 570 flagship SUV.

The all-new Lexus RX builds on the new design direction with its distinct styling and now comes with a sharper, cooler and smarter package. It embodies the energy, technologies, safety features and engineering that distinguish it from all other luxury crossover vehicles on the market. It comes with a 3.5L V6 engine, producing 296 horsepower and is also available as a hybrid model, with the RX 450h, producing 308 horsepower.

The stronger, grander and finer 2016 Lexus LX 570 upgrades include redesigned exterior highlighted by one-piece Spindle Grille, refined interior with a further expanded extensive list of amenities, a new eight-speed automatic transmission, enhanced safety features, a large 12.3-inch navigation screen and for the first time 21” alloy wheels.

The event is taking place on November 14th from 4:30pm at Al Multaqua Ballroom of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
