LG Highlights the Quest for a Sustainable Future Begins at Home

Countries across the world and the Middle East are on a quest to achieve sustainability. Governments are investing millions if not billions to develop infrastructure that can support the production and distribution of renewable energy. Recent reports have indicated that the GCC member states plan to pump up to USD 100 billion into renewable energy projects over the coming two decades.

Furthermore, a report by Orient Planet Research revealed that by shifting to clean and renewable energy countries can reap a massive savings of up to USD 87 billion as well as potentially reducing up to one gigaton of carbon emissions.

According to Frost & Sullivan, Air conditioning accounts for up to 60 percent of peak electricity demand in the GCC adding that the market for EPC in the UAE was estimated to be US$80 million to $100m in 2015 and is expected to have a CAGR of 15 to 17 per cent in the next four to five years.
