Displayed during LG’s Home Appliance & Air Solution Press Tour in Seoul, South Korea, the NeoChef™ is designed to empower users with a more enjoyable way of preparing and cooking their favorite dishes at home.

Combining advanced functionality with stylish design and the company’s latest Smart Inverter technology, the refined appliance brings unparalleled convenience and a touch of class to any kitchen. Elegant and ergonomic, NeoChef™ also boasts an intuitive interface for simple, streamlined control as well as a range of hygiene-enhancing features.

LG NeoChef™ has a sleek tempered-glass front that eliminates trim and parting lines. Its glossy, minimalist surface is paired with an ultra-modern matte finish that makes the NeoChef™ a perfect match for the latest trends in kitchen décor. Designed for user-comfort, the rounded pocket-style handle and diamond-cut dial wed form and function to deliver the ultimate in precision and ease-of-use. The NeoChef™ extends usability even further with a sliding touch control for faster, hassle-free operation.

Equipped with LG’s unique Smart Inverter, the NeoChef™ can handle practically any cooking job. The Smart Inverter effectively preserves nutrients while locking in flavor, using linear power control between 300 to 1,200 watts to evenly cook or defrost food all the way through. Thanks to its 1,200-watt maximum output, the NeoChef™ can cook dishes more quickly than a conventional microwave.

LG’s NeoChef™ comes with specialized settings for preparing a variety of ingredients, offering the delicate control required for tasks such as melting chocolate or cheese. It can also be used to make healthy, lactobacilli-infused yogurt, and works faster than most home yogurt-making systems. Users can even enjoy their favorite fried treats without the guilt or usual health concerns; food cooked with the Healthy Fry feature1 contains less oil and 72 percent less fat2 than dishes that have been deep fried.

The NeoChef™ also packs a number of functions designed to increase cleanliness and simplify the entire cooking experience. With LG’s Anti-Bacterial EasyClean™ Coating, users can get the microwave’s interior thoroughly clean in half the time and with half the effort3 it takes to get a conventional model spotless. In fact, just three wipes are all that is needed to clean the NeoChef™, while most microwaves typically require seven. Additionally, the coating makes it harder for dangerous contaminants to take root, eliminating 99.99 percent of harmful bacteria.4

Preparing complex dishes is easier with LG NeoChef™ and its array of convenience-enhancing features. An innovative, hexagonal-shaped turntable offers increased stability, removing any worries about possible spillage from containers positioned slightly off-center. Three times brighter than lamps used in other LG microwaves, an energy efficient LED lets users easily monitor the progress of their meals.5 Although its dimensions are the same as the previous NeoChef™, the new model has a larger interior, meaning the compact appliance can fit easily in any kitchen and is able to accommodate taller and wider dishes.
