Live Arabic Calligraphy Art Showcase Takes Over Souk Atrium at the Dubai Mall
The Dubai Mall is continuing to celebrate women with inspiring, empowering activities and this time the focus shifts to art as a means of expression. From now until March 31st, internationally recognised Arabic calligraphy artist, Narjes Noureddine will be painting a live mural structure over the course of 10 days, creating a bespoke piece inspired by women. The final artwork will then be on exhibit in the Souk Atrium, reaffirming the space as a vibrant arts hub.
Having showcased her work both locally and globally, Narjes delivers her artworks in various formats, ranging from classic calligraphy plates to modern paintings, murals and sculptures. Her live art will take place daily from 4pm to 10pm.
Complementing the live art showcase, will be Layla Kardan, an Australian-Iranian jazz and soul singer who will be performing live on March 30th & 31st from 6pm to 9pm every hour.
