Make a difference with dunia this Ramadan
Dunia Finance, the Abu Dhabi based financial services company, is calling on members of the community to make a difference this Ramadan through its Iftar meal and daily necessity shoebox appeal and Iftar meal donations. In the spirit of giving during the Holy month of Ramadan, dunia is enabling community members to make a positive difference at this time of year. For amounts as small as AED 10 per meal and AED 50 per shoebox, one can make a difference to those who are less fortunate.
The Ramadan initiative falls under the ‘dunia Cares’ programme umbrella which covers the company’s social and charitable activities, which focus on lending a helping hand to causes that span public health, education, improving social conditions, and working at the grassroots level. dunia has rolled out several community-based CSR initiatives to support causes such as supplying basic necessities to construction workers, blood donation drives, and English Literacy classes for those who are less privileged and in need to learn English.
Rajeev Kakar, Executive Director & CEO of dunia, said “We, at dunia, constantly strive to give back to the community in big and small ways, which is in line with our ultimate objective to empower people, enable success, and enrich lives. In the spirit of giving during this holy month, we are engaging with staff, customers, and the larger community in order to enable them to help enrich the lives of others.”
Any dunia customer can participate and help make a difference through this good cause, and to be able to make donations. All one has to do is to call dunia on 04 42-dunia (38642) or email email@example.com to make a donation or to become a dunia customer to start making a difference.
