Mall of the Emirates celebrates 40th UAE National Day in ‘grand’ fashion

Mall of the Emirates will be a showcase of national pride in celebration of 40^th UAE National Day from December 1-3. Hosting a number of exciting cultural events and activities for the family, Mall of the Emirates is embracing the spirit of unity and heritage and bringing the community together for this milestone occasion. Highlights for the 40^th UAE National Day festivities include some ‘grand’ elements including a giant electronic board displaying congratulatory greetings from all visitors at the mall.

Dressed in 40^th UAE National Day décor, Mall of the Emirates will be adorned with the patriotic colours of the UAE. At the heart of the mall, the Central Galleria will feature a larger-than-life 5m UAE flag, complementing the centerpiece attraction – a giant electronic message board featuring ever-changing inspirational and congratulatory 40^th UAE National Day greetings. By simply sending a SMS, shoppers, residents and tourists at Mall of the Emirates will be able to spread their national day wishes in a unique and meaningful way.

Mall of the Emirates will also offer visitors the opportunity to experience some of the traditional pastimes and cultural practices of the UAE. Falcons, admired in the UAE for their beauty and grandeur will be on display for photo opportunities, while affording visitors the chance to learn about Bedouin history and the sport of falconry.

Roaming entertainment will provide family fun throughout the mall, featuring mascots from the popular children’s and local Emirati show, Khossa Bossa. There will also be face painters will add a dash of UAE colour to children’s faces and performing stilt walkers to entertain visitors.

Wrapping up the festivities are numerous chances to win for 40^th UAE National Day. Mall of the Emirates is participating in the DSMG-DEPE’s ’40 Day Shopping Extravaganza” where AED 40,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to 40 lucky shoppers in the lead-up to 40^th UAE National Day. Mall of the Emirates will also be hosted its own promotion on its popular Facebook page where fans can view and share the mall’s own Happy 40^th UAE National Day greeting, for the chance to win Mall of the Emirates gift cards.
