From 7th to 20th October, 2011, Mall of the Emirates will present the luxury shopping event, ‘World of Fashion’. For two weeks, Mall of the Emirates will be the city’s fashion capital with a host of events from fashion and film to catwalk and charity, with an exclusive showcase of the region’s emerging designers of the future. Attracting the region’s socialites, on-trend fashion stylists and bloggers, ‘World of Fashion’ brings local and international brands together in a fusion of fashion, style and beauty -  positioning Mall of the Emirates as a leading destination for luxury fashion across the region.

Fashion for a cause underscores ‘World of Fashion’ with Mall of the Emirates’ Denim Day campaign, where used denim jeans are being collected for charity. Starting October 7th, a Denim Day collection box will be placed at the Welcome Court 4 on the first floor. All denim collected throughout ‘World of Fashion’ will be repurposed for charitable and humanitarian causes supported by Red Crescent UAE. For an extra treat, on October 14th – ‘Denim Day’ itself, Kitsch Cupcakes will be giving a complimentary cupcake to every visitor who donates a pair of jeans on the day.  

Fashion enthusiasts can visit the Mall of the Emirates now to get the must-have Style Guide providing a complete, day-to-day itinerary of ’World of Fashion’ activities, and the Top Ten seasonal trends from MOE’s Style Ambassador: Tala Samman. Providing advice on mixing textures, triumphing the masculine look and perfecting the 70’s trend, the Style Guide can be picked up from any Customer Services Desk.
